Originally, I didn't like this TV Show that much, I found it rather boring and very overrated, until I watched it second time. A performance that has no weak spots. The storyline is carefully and smartly written, the character development is very satisfying too. There is not a single actor or actress in this TV Show that doesn't fit in. I'am the biggest fan of this director and Alcatraz - Season 1 for me is his best production. All of the characters were played very good, but my favorite one in this TV Show is Sarah Jones. I loved this TV show series from the first sight. Is Alcatraz - Season 1 the best TV show series of all time? Personally, I don't think so but I would rank it in the top 10 for sure. Truly unique TV Show, like nothing I've ever watched before.

In 1963, all the prisoners and guards mysteriously disappear from Alcatraz. In the present day, they resurface and a secret agency are tasked with re-capturing them.
