Chongqing Hot Pot isn't just a beautifully crafted Thriller movie, it's seriously something more. If the watcher does not like Thriller type of movies, he will watch the whole movie and have great fun. It is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. You do not need to like Thriller films to enjoy time spent on watching this film. Qing Yang made this movie at a great steady pace along with amazing writing. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Baihe Bai. I loved Chongqing Hot Pot from the first sight. From the start to the end I was impressed, and if you like well done movies I'm sure you'll feel same. Really I can't stop thinking about Chongqing Hot Pot.

When a young man and his friends dig a hole to expand their restaurant, they enter a nearby bank vault that is being robbed. While deciding to take the easy money or go to the police, they find out one of the bank’s employees is a former classmate and look to enlist her in deciding their future.
