Ivan's Childhood is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. You do not need to like War films to enjoy time spent on watching this film. I am a huge fan of Andrei Tarkovsky Eduard Abalov and this movie was his finest work last time. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Nikolay Burlyaev. I loved Ivan's Childhood from the first sight. Is Ivan's Childhood the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. Really I can't stop thinking about Ivan's Childhood.
