A really original film from 2021 year. I have never seen such an amazing movie since I saw The Pond the first time. It is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. The Pond has one of the highest rates in IMDB top 250. Director once again delivered us great piece of art. The movie with best storyline ever, best directing and really good chosen cast. Rly, this is the first film I saw that made me feel I saw something better than just a movie. The Pond will live with the next generations of men, I'm certain of that. It is one of the few movies of the past years that really deserve to be seen multiple times.

Anthropology professor was kicked out from his university for claiming to be on the threshold of an apocalyptic discovery. Someone or something is still interested in his work.
